For seven days Jen watched the body count pile up on the news. Five dead on Wednesday, 8 on Thursday, 12 on Friday. The numbers kept going up every day and the numbers went so high that on the seventh day she decided she couldn’t watch the news anymore. She switched it off and went out for a walk, but still she couldn’t escape the escalating numbers of dead people in her city.
